I bought a used current production Coats a couple years ago from a tire shop planned update. It's my third Coats machine and works well. Parts are plentiful on the internet for the few times you need any. I've always been pleased with the Coats machines. I didn't want to buy an orphan even if they are a little cheaper.

I grew up in truck stop service station. The only ones that lasted were coats. In my own shop that's all I have had is coats. Went rim clamp about seven years ago. It took a while but I found a repo one from a tool guy that was almost like new and its been a great machine. Those knock off machines will work but when I have a tire to fix the last thing I want to do is fix the machine first. | 
While we are on the tire subject, which tire machine do you vote for? I've read till I'm blue.
