Beresford, SD | Modified here. 45% moisture. Last load was $99 delivered. Be $104 in Jan. Bought 20 semi loads of 20+ pro alfalfa hay before year end for $125 to $132/ton delivered. Drought insurance feed......I may pull the plug on byproducts if mod takes another jump and re-formulate rations. Still have most my own hay and haylage on hand....easily enough to get to new crop. Purchased hay was just in case it doesn’t rain in the spring.
