St. Joseph, Champaign County, IL | Are you going to bet your life that the stick hasn’t lost its insulating capability? They’re tested (I think annually at least) to make sure they’re still up to the job.
Those fuses shouldn’t trip for no reason. If they’re tripping/ blowing regularly, there must be a reason and it needs to be found and rectified.
The power companies here do NOT want you to do anything on their transformer poles.
