I assume the camera is a 12V type camera?
What is it you're ordering 3 of?
Do you need to reduce voltage?
Will wireless cameras run on 14-18V without damage?

Thanks
Ron

The cameras run off of 12VDC but may be able to tolerate higher voltage. I'm not sure. The item that I happened to order 3 of is called a Buck Converter. They come in various shapes and flavors but the general idea is they change DC voltage levels. Mine were offered as a set of three that I ordered a while back. They have IN and OUT pins. A voltage of a certain value can be connected to the IN pins and a different voltage comes out of the OUT pins. To set the voltage, you connect a volt meter to the output and adjust a screw with a small screwdriver. The voltage can be stepped UP or DOWN within reason.

I'm using one of them right now with a project where I'm attempting to make a Batch Maker. The goal of the project is to be able to see the running total as I make a batch of spray. I typically mix all my spray batches in the yard and either fill the planter, sprayer or trailer with a hot batch. I will have a Raven 2" flow meter on the discharge of my electric transfer pump. The Batch device will not be used to measure the chemicals themselves but the total batch size so I know when to shut off the water. I will be using an Arduino with some fairly large displays so I can see the running total from quite a distance. The system runs on 5V. I have a power supply from an old laptop. It runs off 110 VAC but puts out 20 VDC. I use one of the Buck converters to reduce the voltage to the 5V the system needs. Another choice would have been to use a battery or a 110VAC to 5VDC adapter. This project is still under construction but preliminary testing looks promising. It's really a hobby or a "can I pull it off" kind of deal for Winter entertainment.

The Buck Converters that I have came from a Website called Wish.com. They handle about everything, the electronic items come from China and are very cheap. Sometimes they are worth it and sometimes not. The Wish outfit seems to make their profit off of the shipping and handling which is often more than the price of the item.

Anyway I order a fair amount from them and by the time I get the item I have often forgot about it so its sort of like Christmas in that it is a surprise.

The link in a post above shows a Buck Converter from Amazon which is capable of higher current. Mine are quite light but seem OK for my purposes. Don't expect any documentation coming from China. Sometimes the Chinese to English translation is humorous. I notice that they have a chart showing the size of these things. The headings indicate Bust and Waist size. That chart is for something else. Mine are about 2 1/2" x 3/4"
