I bought one 10yrs ago from my in-laws. I ran until that 1,200hr range and blew up. At the time small engine warehouse only had briggs vanguards for a replacement.
I did that and it's been great.
I also found a 50in deck on ebay close by and replaced my 48in. It is only used for the ditch since we bought a zero turn a few years ago but it works great.
