I have a 597 .22lr. You need to install the Volquartsen hardened tool steel extractor if you have one. That got rid of all the stove piping problems on mine and my buddie’s. The mags have to be cleaned with soap and water as the manual says, then I put some powdered graphite on the mag follower. Mine is super reliable after these two things.
