White Stone, Virginia | I got three hoses made by discount hydraulic hose last month. They use the hydraulix brand hose. They were three quarter inch hose with a male npt on one end and a male swivel npt on the other 41 in long. They were $39 each plus shipping. I could find nothing to complain about on the quality. Locally the best I could do was $89 per hose. I got them within 2 days regular shipping.
obviously if you're in the middle of a job it's worth paying more money to have it fixed locally, but if you have a couple of days to spare, the savings by using them is substantial. And the quality seems fine. Obviously time will tell how they stand up to the sunlight and use. These were going on a old bulldozer I used to clean up around fields so there's nothing time sensitive involved in the work if they fail.
