Yes, the 310 waukesha and especially the turboed version has some flaws. Weak rod bolts, two piece wrist pin bushings, not enough head bolts, early ones didn't have an oil cooler, and the cylinder sleeve protrusion needed to be exact to stop from blowing head gaskets. Had one on a 1955 Oliver for several years that was constantly having problems. When it ran it ran great but that was just too light of an engine for that size of tractor. Swapped in a 5.9 cummins and that turned a good tractor into a great tractor!
