Subject: RE: White-Oliver Over-Under vs IH's TA and MF's Multipower

Central New York
Our primary tractors for many years were Massey - 1100, 1130, and 1105 all with multi power. Thousands of hours on the 1130 and 1100 doing custom silo filling. The multi power is pretty simple never had any issue at all with them. Had to train help that they free wheel in low and that you can't take it out of gear in high with the clutch in on a hill against the gears direction, but it is nice when stopped pulling up onto the road out of field to not have to hold it with the brakes. The only work we ever did to them was clutches at an appropriate time. That being said, having 3 speeds like in the White would certainly be welcome.
