I was going to also suggest this product because I've used it on metal fittings that wouldn't seal until I used this. Also used their primer-cleaner before using the sealant. But the OP didn't say whether the fittings were plastic or metal. I would assume plastic because they are harder to seal, and I haven't used this on plastic, only metal to metal.
