I had hoped to not have to use Quickbooks, but if it is the best tool I might go in that direction.  I've never used it for my farm, but know that many have.  I've just been a little wary because of the KSU/KFMA instructions that seem to be about half filled with workarounds to make it suitable for a farm operation.
