Now this discussion was on just on Red Power..............the 5.9 will replace everything from a IH 282 to a DTI466, make 30% more hp and burn 50% less fuel I was told. Not sure what Koolaid is being drank or what it is spiked with, but that is what I was told. So clearly a Allis 426 would be nothing for such a pile of parts!


The same people that act like a 5.9L was formed in a joint venture between Jesus Christ himself and NASA also trash talk a 3208 cat because its a "throwaway" engine. ;)

I believe I found this torque curve chart right here on NAT... :)
