Just put in a Mr Heater Big Maxx 50,000 BTU
About the same size garage as you mentioned 24 X 23 two stall....
Does the job well!
A little bit noisier than I expected, but not bad.
I put a programmable Thermostat in mine change the heat levels from 50-60 depending on the time. Want to see the gas bill before I decide to go higher LOL
