south east SD | Co-op 25 miles from me says 14.5 is dry corn. I haven't hauled one pound of anything to them.
They do have a rail line and can load 110 car trains. So they say it's the railroad demanding this. Also there isn't competition north and west of them for miles so they get away with it. They even bought up grain elevators in those directions to keep it that way. The farther elevators truck straight to the ethonal plant 10 from the main co-op.
It's all about what you can get away with. | |
