Not sure how much wire you have or space requirements but looks like something I would wire nut back together if need be and then wrap nut with good electrical tape.


Wire nuts are for installing light fixtures in the house to make the wife happy. Using them for anything in a vehicle practically guarantees someone will have to come back and fix it correctly later. Not a good idea IMO, especially for something like this that is probably carrying significant current and a poor connection might create a fire hazard besides.
