I'm not sure if that's correct, I thought CANBUS just has two terminators (typically 120ohm each). That being said many systems have more than one CANBUS network. I've never experienced more then three so far but they should always be in pairs I think? One at each end of the network? That being said they can also be built into the end ECUs.

Physically the CANBUS network is simple...
