| If they are sell you wintermaster and it is guaranteed to -30 they should have no problem coming out and getting you going. It does look awful suspicious.
The sad part is even if they get you going on their dime, that .30 extra profit still leaves them ahead.
Here I buy only number 2 fuel. I add howes to it before they fill the tank. Ok I try and add before they fill. I also add when I fill the tractors. If it is going to be really cold I add number 1 from a local station that I am sure what it is.
If I start with number 2 I know that is what I am working with and plan accordingly. If I start with blended fuel I still act like it is number 2.
I take all precautions that I can. I wrap or cover filters in cardboard. If it I think it is iffy I start stuff up and run a heat light on the filter or lines.
FyI Straight 1 used to gell at -40 F. I assume it is still that way. | |
