Putting that receiver tube in 1/4" rectangular tubing is the best thing I've seen yet. A 12v winch isn't gonna bend or twist that.
I'm liking the receiver idea the more I think about it local machine shops got 24-ft lengths of the stuff so I could use the longer one and do some reinforcing but as far as to what those little 12-volt winches will do I've seen the same winch as I've got laying there on that deck pull the receiver hitch right off of Duramax pickup when it had a double snatch block on it.
