Subject: RE: New Massey 5S has landed

Jeffersonville, OH
Posted this in the 8S thread as well....

I believe we will be seeing a 9S in the future.

The 8S is the Large Frame 7700S (7720-7722-7724-7726)
The 5S is the 5700S/SL replacement.

So, we should see a 7S which will replace the small frame 7700S (7715-7716-7718-7719), and a 6S to replace the 6700S Series...which cab they have is up in the air, I don't see them having the same cab as the 8S.

I believe the 9S will be the last thing for the changeover, because what is known as the LRT tractor internally at AGCO, the MF8600/8700/8700S tractors was the last major redesign to be done. The 6700/7700 range was just the old 6400/7400 with new styling and some upgrades. The 8600's were a DRASTIC change from the old 8400 range.

Massey wants to make a big change in their products. Spring 2018 we had some very high level folks from the factory and marketing team in Beauvais, France at our dealership for a day. They asked some good questions, and gave us a lot of things to think about, as well as some things we were not aware of. Obviously, out of respect for them, I will not be repeating what was said, but I believe we have just started a neat chapter in AGCO and MF's book.
