Have that same chisel. That's as tight as they can be. It takes a lot of tension to hold a shank in the ground. I'm running about 6" deep with 2" spikes and the shanks are still pivoting back.
Seems like I’m running about that same depth to .. do you like the chisel? Do you think it breaks up the compaction
