I had a 4955 that we set up to 260 pto hp. Only problem we ever had with it was head gasket. I had a 4650, and a 4055 that all needed head gaskets too. The 4650 got one every other year. Deere had a different gasket and updated procedure and maybe even bolts the last time, never had a problem since.
