I was told to never push the clutch pedal in when starting the engine. It seems to help.
They said that if you push the clutch in when starting it goes into calibration with the oil cold.
That is true.
You can adjust the default gears, but it has to be done with CAT software. So, if you have a dealer close, they should have, or can get a copy of CAT ET from Versatile...OR, if there is a CAT/Challenger dealer close that has any AG tractors around, it's the same controller and transmission.
