And sometimes people drive over the speed limit too. And get killed because of it sometimes.

Can't fix stupid. On the other hand we can't seem to fix government either. So sometimes people are forced to do stupid things that they should not need to otherwise do.

Very little down side risk (even if it ends up not working for everyone). Very little cost in the scheme of things. So what's the problem?

Early treatment or prophylactic use is key. NOT waiting to be so sick needing hospitalization. Even though it purportedly still works even in advanced illness.
