Sanilac Co. Michigan | Maybe that's why most all of them ive seen had stiffners. I wonder: how'd they get the pole out when they were done, cut it out?
I think part of the problem with rust and moisture might have to do with how they are aerated. I think they were meant to have air drawn in through the top instead of pushed through from the bottom, so the fan works as an exhaust. It's tough to push air out around the ridge on those and the roof vents with the inserted panel/tube don't really lend themselves to letting moist air out. | |
