What a year!  Frost over a thousand miles south of me - but none 'here' yet. First forecast for frost tomorrow am but only -1C/30F. Normal frost date for my farm is around September 10-15, there was patchy frost the last week of August 9 miles from here that took the top leaves off of a soybean field of mine but nothing in my yard yet. It is almost October and my corn is green!  Summer here consisted of one month - September - I could not have ordered better weather than we had this September to mature my corn and soys.

2009 has been the most upside down year weatherwise I can remember.
