Subject: RE: Dekalb Grain Sorghum

Holton,KS
I had used the dk FS5 for several years. Always had good grain and tonnage. They sold there Grain sorguhm to Forage 1st and I tracked it down and got some. For some reason it only had a few berries in the head. Must have not pollenated right. We had a few big rains during flowering, so maybe that was it. Still got abought 10-12 ft tall just very little grain. we plant 2 rows of corn with it in a 6 row planter, it had a lot of corn on it so should be OK. It helps hold it up and we use a 3 row head so mixes as we chop. I'll try some new stuff next year.
