Thumb of Michigan | I have a question/snafu/road block? to participation. I think.
Under the land eligibility requirement, the first bullet off the NRCS site says that to be eleigible, the entire agricultural operation (land for which you are the operator in FSA farm records management system) apparantley has to sign up. In other words, sign up doesn't go by farm number. Looks like it goes by SS or EIN #.At least, my local NRCS guy reads it that way.
That can't be correct, is it? I wasn't real excited about ACRE after looking it over. Numbers didn't work. I was real excited about enrolling in the CSP program, however. In my situation, looks like I might end up on the outside looking in due to the first line of the eligibility requirement.
