ND | What exactly do they do aside from irrigate areas that kinda have the opposite issue with water and fill lakes?
I mean reading the History of ND book from the 60s talks about the garrison diversion bringing water to western ND to "make it flourish like the Red River Valley of the North" and...they haven't seemed to do much?
This thought came up in my mind as we have had a large fresh waterline come through our land and one of the things in the contract, and not by our demands, was free water of unlimited usage(within reason). The water line isn't small either, it's a big 3' diameter pipe. The neighbor is using his free water for an irrigation pivot which is sitting currently in pieces in his field, and that's kinda where the thought came back, what happened to the diversion that would make western ND "flourish like the RRV"? | |
