But are we not already on that path with the structure of crop insurance, FSA money, and the never ending land of this new LLC and that new LLC?

One could make the argument that the system is set up for consolidation and at a rapid pace. Look at poultry (chicken or turkey, including eggs) and hogs. Massive consolidation and vertical integration occurred there and now if you want to put up a 7 figure building and work it for $8 an hour and have a worn our barn and worn out body when it's paid for, that's called "opportunity".

Lots of questions to ponder about the future of ag.
