I agree. It would encourage production under every rock on the planet and cause too much market disruption, but still it is a thought provocative discussion on how a handful of countries are feeding most of the world. It exposes real world food supply risk if the US and Brazil would have back to back simultaneous crop disasters. Africa is leading the world in population growth and contributes very little to the worlds food supply. That has to change.
