| Could they do it? Maybe, but I think that would come back to bite us/them.
I know people that had layers when the bird flu hit. They kept the flu out and enjoyed high egg prices for a time but some end users switched to cheaper protein sources and never did switch back after the price of eggs dropped. There barns are now sitting empty.
The oil producers enjoyed high prices for a time but they aren’t having much fun recently. Everything has cycles but manipulating the market makes the swings much wilder. | |
