 South Africa | Thanks man, I really enjoyed those pics. I always like seeing how it's done elsewhere. Not many drills are seen around here, apart from a few old Masseys or John Shearers (from Australia). In the early 1980's many guys started experimenting by broadcasting the seed with the fertilizer and covering it with cultivators, and that really catched on, because it worked very well in our conditions and it's FAST. From that method it started going to no-till, which is still hotly debated here (just like everywhere else, I guess). | |
