near dyersville iowa | had an older man tell me today he rented out his land for 250/acre. I wasnt interested in it, so good for him. However he bought it out of the crp to do so. I would estimate the csr to be in the low 60 s. Pretty rolling land, but no major hills. I havent even tried to figure what i could have rented it for, but it does sound a bit on the high side. He also claimed it was a 5 year lease with a renegotiation at 3 years. Ground has been in crp for 20 years and was well taken care of..any thoughts? I have no idea of how to take ground out of crp correctly, just something i wanted opinions about | |
