Yeah unfortunately that one is in that serial number range. Not saying it’s going to have a issue but it’s possible. The campaign is closed so if it’s out of warranty it’s gonna be tough to get anything covered if the issue comes up.

I would highly doubt that. AGCO has been pretty good historically if something was a known issue and happens outside of a campaign...obviously, it something happens 5 years from now with 6000 hours or something, it's going to be tough...but, if something happens in a reasonable amount of time and hours, I have had very good luck arguing my cases with the FAM (Field Aftersales Manager).

On that tractor, I only see 2 warranty items, a solenoid, and a fitting, both under 800 hours. Also, the last time a dealer saw it and updated anything in the newer system we all have, it had 904 hours just a few days ago. The 800 hours repair was in 2018, so it hasn't done much since then, common on a lease return. Also shows no outstanding Product Support campaigns, which means anything it has "needed" was done.

As far as the engine and piston deal, I don't have exact number, but I only had 1 engine out of about 50 that fell in the "range." I remember a few years back Mother Deere had to replace about 75K crankshafts, but for some reason Deere didn't get this bad rap?

Lease returns are a good deal right now, that's what I do know.
Chris
