Subject: RE: Deere Vs. Macdon Flex Draper

So I’ve had two macdon heads great headers durability and simplicity so I was fortunate enough to get to try a Deere Draper this fall on 350 ac of soybeans the Deere Draper worked really well. But now when I was cutting short beans the macdon was hands down better because of the reel relationship to the cutter bar was always constant so for me and mine we are going back with the macdon going to buy a fd140 and another positive the macdon is cheaper I ran my fd75 for 6 seasons and only thing I replaced was knives and guards no belts or bearing what so ever very cheap to operate
