west central IL
We had an early model 9250 and upgraded this year to a 9255. We felt it was a big improvement even though there is not a huge difference. The end dividers where the sch drive/wobble box bolt on are made much heavier on the 9255. We had to weld on the dividers numerous times on the 50. Like you said, the reel is a different style and I believe it is a bit longer to keep the plastic end dividers from building up with beans. On our 9250 in lodged beans they would build up on the end dividers where the reel wasn’t wide enough to reach them and then once the reel caught them it would feed in like a big slug. Other than those couple issues I can’t really think of many other differences. No idea on the 9300. I was glad to see the 9250 go and hope we keep the 9255 for a long time.
