Gehl 5640 with about 510 hours, turn the key, it primes normally, glow plug lights go out, you turn the key and nothing - no crank just silence. I checked the battery and relays all fine so I'm guessing it's either the solenoid or starter and most likely the former. But where are they? From what I gather the starter and solenoid are separate units. I've been trying to find a shop/repair manual on line but to no avail. If anyone has a schematic or any hints as to what else it could be I'd be grateful for any hints.
To further complicate matters, I've built a lean to this past summer to keep it out of the snow (I'm 20 miles northwest of Fairbanks) which means I can't lift the cab. TIA
