No a big tractor may not always be as nimble, but if you're in smaller fields with short rounds an articulated will back a planter or cart around alot faster than an MFD tractor. Very comparable to a track tractor. There are times I only put one headland pass on and back around the planter when turning. Sitting here the last few days going, gee it'd sure be nice to have another 450-500 hp tractor around that could pull one of our tillage tools instead of a 325 hp small block tractor.....our next planter tractor will probably be bigger.
