South Central MN | I don't follow class ratings too much and now they aren't very good at rating combine capacity , but...
The new lexions are interesting and I'm curious how they compare to our 585. our machine appears to be a class 8 and the 8600 also appears to be a class 8?
We are running an 8 row chopping head on it, and in 250bpa corn we were power-limited to around 3400 bph. I'm seeing reports of the monster 8900 doing 7000bph. Is a class 11 double the size of a class 8?
Edit: corrected the 8900 to class 11 after mistakenly posting that it was a class 10.
