The REAL problem is they are in the air and not grounded when they hit it so they don’t get zapped. All you can hope for is your fence is tough enuf to bounce back.
This is the problem with deer and electric fence, they are going too fast to get zapped. I put up temp electric fence around several hay fields every year. I started putting aluminum foil with peanut butter on the fence where the deer seem to cross the most. This gets them zapped a few times when they try to eat the peanut butter and then they learn to respect the fence. |
