East Central Ia
Like I said, we liked it... but we didn’t love it.

The steering is WAY WAY harder to turn then our current track tractors. Not a huge deal normally but both Dad and I have bad shoulders so holding that steering wheel while turning is uncomfortable, a drawback on two track machines vs wheels, but it is very noticeably harder to steer. With lots of irregular shaped fields this starts to bother a guy.

The hydraulic controls are silly. You can only set a timer per remote not independently for each remote function. This is the same as our other challenger tractors but with our Case 305 you can do this. Not a deal breaker but for a modern tractor with all this technology it seems an oversight. The biggest annoyance is how flimsy the hydraulic controls feel, very easy to bump. And when you have it set for a timer there is no feathering the flow and then clicking the “detent” to activate the timer. You touch that remote and it activates the timer and whatever flow you have programmed into it.

You can’t see the hitch out the rear window without some serious gymnastics and getting your head in the perfect spot to see between some obstructions on top of the valve block.

The hydraulic whine is still there. Not a deal breaker either... but why can’t they get rid of that?

I think there are a few other nit picky things but time to load hogs so I gotta go!
