Got a e-mail from DJI. New model of the Mavic Mini.
Model name is Mavic Mini 2.
From a look at the website.
Weight is the same at 249 grams
Biggest change I can see is the controller. Device is mounted at what what I would call the front .- Vs the two deals folding out of from the side closest to you on the older models.
It looks like the device holder pulls out from the controller, general area where the foldable antennas are on the older models.
In the promo videos I did not see anything that looks like a antenna on the controller.
Also looks like a price increase. Just in time for Christmas!
El Cheapo package now $450- vs $400- before
Combo now $600- vs $500- before.
The combo is well worth it, just for the two extra batteries.
Note: The prices I listed are rounded off, could be $395- instead of the $400-
or $499- instead of $500-, etc.

I think, but not sure, DJI prices are controlled. Venders have to sell for MSRP.
