| I have a Allied 2300 ho-pac mounted on a 690ELC hoe.
It’s a 23,000 lb force vibratory plate compactor. I just welded a 3” tall ring of pipe to the plate for the top of the post to sit in.
Works awesome and it can drive posts in solid frost. It was lightly used and $4k CAD. I can knock the pipe off and use it for compacting fill.
I have no experience with the breaker style drivers though , but I have no desire to go back to a post pounder. | |
