Subject: RE: How effective is chemotherapy?

St.Clair Co. IL.
our son was diagnosed with a cancerous tumor in his cheek by his mouth last March, the surgery and recovery was estimated to be 6 to eight weeks, well everything that could go wrong did, he finally returned home after almost five months, when he was to start his radiation treatment they also suggested chemo. was told it would help improve the radiation another 15 to 20 percent, for what he had gone through already we didn't feel the improvement was worth the things he would have to go through, I talked to his surgeon ( who I really liked and trusted) and he said I can't tell you what to do, but the type cancer he had will come back in a yr. to two no matter what you do now, so we decided to roll the dice and pray for the best.
have seen a lot of people who went through chemo and they went through hell.
JMO and hope it is the right one
Bob
