| It's actually somewhat common in Texas. There are no dryers around and it can be months before decent fan weather. It's always hot and humid since most people are finished by August. If you put 15% corn in a bin here, it will not store well for very long. It stores much better around 12% Plus it's not uncommon for corn later during the harvest to get down below 10% moisture depending on weather and how long it stays in the field. | |
