Jeffersonville, OH | Sold a dozen or 15 of them, if you are running a 3000 there is absolutely no comparison. Best way to sell one is to put it in the field with a 3000 head, and watch what comes out the back of the machine. Almost no trash behind the 3300.
Feeds better, longer snouts for getting down under low corn, and the tilt makes adjusting for different tires and rear axles very nice. The stalk rolls are a timed, blade style that do not interlock, so the stalk is not trying to feed into a wall of steel, they actually open up to let the stalk in, then cut it.
Gleaner waited a long time to redesign the cornhead, and it definitely needed it, but they did a very good job. I put our 3300 just a little below the Drago GT. The GT's Deck plates are hard to beat, but that's the only thing I can say that Gleaner gives anything up to anyone. Gleaners deckplate design works very well, but they are only electric adjust.
