ya know... #3 handle  WAS   'stuck'  this morning..  So  there very probably was some  water in the cable.      I didn't  force it,  it apparently thawed on it's own.   It is  just below  freezing here.   #4  was  'free'.. but not  working..

Everything is working  well now..  and  the only thing i really  did  was let it warm up a little.
