| As mentioned previously, 48145392 is the part number required to limit the gathering chain tensioner travel. It's uncommon to lose a whole chain, but this spacer can keep the chains from jumping a tooth on the idler sprocket. Make sure the part they give you is black in color. Early versions of this part were yellow and have been known to be brittle in cold weather.
The stalk roll spirals were updated to what is referred to as the "deep flighted spirals". The part number for this kit is 48020754, and requires 1 kit per row. Additionally, there is a template to trim a small portion of the leading edge of the deck plates to allow for more aggressive gathering chain action as stalks enter the row unit. Your service department should be able to get these templates.
Deck plate trimming will help some, the deep flighted spirals will help a lot more.
