nc ks | We bought a used 4412 head this year and have actually had pretty good luck with it. Every once in a while in certain hybrids and certain conditions a row will plug up in front of the deck plates. I think that was a pretty common problem when they first came out and they changed the spirals at the end of the rolls to help. How do I tell if we have the updated spirals. Also, there is a kit to put on the front of the gathering chains to keep them from popping off. We have only popped one off all harvest but am wondering what that kit looks like to see if this head has had it. There is a tool to put chains on and off, any pics of that? | |
