For those of you running the newer 8530 finisher how does it handle the corn stalk trash? I have an older 850-27 finisholl that works decent in the spring and ok in 200 bu and less fall stalks if its bone dry. My blades are worn down a touch below 18" but it seems to plug up rite behind the gang and its not cutting the trash in heavy residue. Local dealer has a used 8530-25 and it seems alot heavier. I just use it for fixing ditches and small areas. I dont want to disc and have to come back with a 2nd tool. Try to fix everything in the fall and seed rye for cover crop.
